The Innovations in Social Marketing Conference provides a forum for senior social marketing practitioners and academics to advance their thinking about the theory and practice of social marketing and in the process promote the field.

The conference is designed to learn from best practices in the social marketing field as well as from other disciplines, most specifically, but not exclusively, commercial marketing. It has been likened to a think tank or “laboratory” where senior marketers can explore new ideas to see how they might:

  • Deepen their understanding of social marketing;
  • Enhance their use of the social marketing process, and
  • Enhance their strategic design and implementation skills.

The target audience for the conference is:

  • Senior social marketing practitioners;
  • Senior social marketing academics;
  • Senior managers who influence and understand the design and funding of social marketing programs.
